Curt SecureLatch Pintle Hook, 30,000 lbs, Mount Required

This SecureLatch pintle hook automatically couples to a lunette ring, featuring an auto-lock.   Just back up and strike the back plate, drop the lunette ring and the primary latch auto engages then insert the secondary safe pin.    This pintle hook is quieter and smoother than other pintle hooks, featuring a unique cupped design holding the ring tighter to reduce play & noise.   The SecureLatch is constructed from cast iron and is austempered for superior strength and wear resistance.     The hook is rated for 30,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 6,000 lbs vertical load.     The pintle hook will couple to any lunette ring with a 2-1/2" or 3" inside diameter.     It is designed to mount onto a SecureLatch Pintle Mount (Sold Separately).
